WHAT WERE MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF 2025?

	1) MALEFIC THRONE: The Conquering Darkness What a crushing record by the superb supergroup. Just wall to wall brutality, the ultimate ode to Angel Corpse / Morbid Angel of the past!
	2) TESTAMENT: Para Bellum This band never seems to stop finding ways to get heavier without abandoning their thrash roots. Not all things grow tired with age.
	3) CRYPTOPSY: An Insatiable Violence Cryptopsy prove they still have something to say after all these years. Insatiable is the word.
	4) PUTRIDITY: Morbid Ataraxia While not quite as nuts as some of their older albums, this new full length proves this band still has plenty of speed and complexity to spread around.
	5) UNMERCIFUL: Devouring Darkness Just solid, high quality pounding with no end in sight.
	6) DESPISED ICON: Shadow Work Not quite as good as their last album, but still plenty powerful and vicious.
	7) NECROTICGOREBEAST: Brute A nice little EP, consider it an appetizer for the brutality to come.
	8) PEELINGFLESH: PF Radio 2 While nothing that different from previous releases, this band has carved out it's own special niche in brutal death metal that shouldn't be ignored.
	9) VILE APPARITION: Malignity A big step up from their previous releases, they're small but worth looking into.
	10) COLPOCLEISIS: Mosaic of Morbid Manifestation For all of those who love that ping sound for their snare, they're nothing better out there.
